- Why volunteer at Rancho?
Rancho is a highly specialized hospital treating patients with severe physical disabilities from both the public and private sector. Rancho is a leader in patient care and research. It is ranked in the top 10 among rehabilitation medical centers in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. As a volunteer, you will become an important member of this team. - Who are Rancho's volunteers?
Rancho volunteers are men, women, and teenagers that offer their services for a variety of reasons, such as: working with a team to help others, to learn new skills, explore health careers, gain experience for school credit, contribute valuable training and experience, etc. - Do I have what it takes?
Interested individuals must be at least 14 years of age, in good health, dependable and have a strong desire to serve others. These qualities plus a cheerful attitude, sensitivity towards others, and a willingness to learn and grow are inherent to volunteerism. - What might I do as a volunteer?
Rancho volunteers offer their skills in patient-related, research or clerical positions in many areas. For example,
