Hamlet Baghoumian, M.D.

Dr. Baghoumian is Supervising Physician of Rancho's Spinal Cord Injury Clinic. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from California State University, Northridge, he earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Physiology and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Chicago Medical School. He completed one year of surgical residency training at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California (LAC/USC) Medical Center and a residency in internal medicine at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He also completed a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery/pressure ulcer management at Rancho. He joined the medical staff at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in 2004.

Dr. Baghoumian is experienced in treating pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers; working with patients with spinal cord injury; performing flexible sigmoidoscopy; critical care including endotracheal intubations, central venous access, arterial line placement and interpretation of homodynamic parameters. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. He is fluent in Armenian and Persian and can converse in some medical Spanish.
