Babak R. Bina, D.O.
Dr. Bina is a member of the Neurology Service in the Department of Neurorehabilitation at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of New England at Biddford, Maine and has been recognized in Marquis' Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges (2001-2002). Dr. Bina completed his residency at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Bina is a member of the Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association and the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Prior to Medical School, he served as Senior Research Assistant for the Pediatric Nephrology Research Laboratory, Rhode Island Hospital - Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Bina's research interests lay in hypertension and steroid metabolism. He has published a wide array of journal articles and abstracts and has presented for various professional organizations, such as the American Heart Association, American Society of Nephrology, Society for Pediatric Research, and the American Federation for Clinical Research.
