Robert Vega, PA-C
Robert Vega is Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) of the plastic reconstructive surgery/pressure ulcer management program. After earning his bachelor of science degree in psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), he earned a master of science degree and physician assistant certificate from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He joined the medical staff at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in 2005.
PA Vega has extensive clinical experience, starting as a hospital corpsman with the U.S. Marine Corps Base at Camp Pendleton in California. He also volunteered as an emergency medical technician at the Queen of the Valley Hospital and then served as PA at the Inland Industrial Medical Group in Ontario, California.
PA Vega is a member of the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants (2007); American Academy of Physician Assistants (2000 to present); and the Eugene E. Stead Physician Assistant Student Society at Duke University (2002-2002).
Robert Vega is fluent in Spanish.
