David Saperia, M.D.

Dr. Saperia has served as Chief of the Neurological Rehabilitation Program since 1993 and Chief of Neurological Service since 2004. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Saperia also serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology for the Department of Neurology, Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC).

Dr. Saperia earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of California at Los Angeles. He completed his residency training in Neurology at the Los Angeles County - University of Southern California Medical Center and completed several fellowships in Neurological Rehabilitation and Neurology at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, California and in Gerontology at the Department of Neurobiology at USC.

Raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Saperia started his undergraduate work as a music major. His independent studies included musical composition, violin, cello and the harpsichord. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from USC and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society at USC.
