Alzheimer's Disease Research Center of California

The Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is one of seven in California, all of which are affiliated with university medical schools that provide comprehensive outpatient diagnostic services to persons with memory impairment, ongoing care, clinical research, and professional education.

The evaluation process for the patient begins with a home visit by the nurse coordinator and is completed with a family conference. Support services for the family/caregivers include education, support groups and individual counseling. Assistance is available in planning varying levels of care as the patient’s condition necessitates.
